Moore Mechanical has been serving Michigan since 1996! Moore Mechanical is part of the MM Acquisitions group of HVAC and plumbing companies. We currently cover most of the Lower Peninsula and have eight office locations. We’ve grown significantly over the last several years and plan to continue on this growth trajectory.
Compensation
The base salary is dependent upon experience, but your pay package will be heavily driven by sales performance commissions. For reference, our salespeople, if successful, currently achieve a pay package between $100K and $200K per year.
Role Description
This fulltime position offers significant upside for someone who is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. Success will require tremendous organization, hustle, and self-motivation. Though you will have an extensive support network to lean on, you will be expected to operate as though you’ve been given the keys to your own franchise. Your ability to quickly assess opportunities and close sales will be critical to your success.
This role consists of responding to incoming leads that are generated by our company’s marketing efforts. These leads tend to be homeowners who need help with things like replacing a furnace or upgrading their water heater. You will then be responsible for delivering the quotation to the customer and, ultimately, winning the business. After a given project is secured, you will perform a detailed pass-off to our Operations group who will perform the work. Initially, you will have no direct reports.
This role will report to the management of the local branch office. A company phone, laptop or tablet, and vehicle will be provided. Health insurance and retirement savings benefits are offered.
Qualifications
The right candidate should fit one of three profiles: (1) At least 3-years of hands-on experience selling HVAC and/or plumbing installations to residential customers, (2) at least 2-years of experience overseeing HVAC and/or plumbing installations for residential customers, or (3) at least 5-years of experience in the field installing HVAC and/or plumbing systems for residential customers.
Also, we try to always use the latest and best technology available, so the right candidate must be comfortable with learning new tools and using mobile applications, such as ServiceTitan.
