What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Moore Industries, Inc.?
The Human Resource Generalist will facilitate all recruiting and administrative functions within the HR department, in conjunction with the HR Manager, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Initiate payroll reporting to be submitted to 3rd party payroll company
- Facilitate resolutions to any payroll discrepancies
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and/or changes, as needed
- Enter and maintain employment data in computer database, including but not limited to: new hire information, job changes, wage changes, absences, vacation, benefits, FMLA, leaves of absence, termination paperwork, etc.
- Maintain record of issued company property to employees
- Recruit, interview and hire all positions in conjunction with the department manager as required
- Oversee onboarding and orientation for all new hires
- Assist with completion of training documentation in conjunction with department managers
- Back up janitorial duties, as needed
- Continually look for and recommend ways to improve our processes and help Moore Industries, Inc. become more efficient
- Responsible for managing the Moore Industries, Inc. Operating Budget with the rest of the managing staff. It is expected that this position will maintain budget objectives on a monthly and annual basis to achieve profit goals for the company
- Report any safety issues immediately
- Other duties and secondary functions as assigned

- Work at a desk for a normal 8-hour shift
- Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch

- Due to time-sensitive nature of manufacturing, some overtime including 12-hour shifts and weekend work may be required
- Must wear personal protective equipment as required
Preferred Education and Experience
- Human Resources experience required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Driver License Preferred
