Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and load shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize warehouse management systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Conduct regular inventory counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members on shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment processes to meet company standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse distribution practices.
- Ability to operate equipment including forklift trucks (certification preferred), pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Excellent basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Effective data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records in warehouse management systems.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and external partners regarding shipping & receiving details.
