Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Designer/Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in building plumbing system design, particularly in K-12 and healthcare environments.
This position offers significant opportunity for professional growth, leadership development, and involvement in a wide range of meaningful and technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify plumbing systems including:
- Domestic water systems
- Sanitary waste and vent systems
- Storm drainage systems
- Natural gas distribution systems
- Compressed air systems
- Medical gas systems
- Develop code-compliant designs using industry best practices
- Coordinate with internal MEP disciplines and external design professionals
- Prepare construction documents and technical specifications
- Participate in project meetings, coordination reviews, and construction administration support
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of plumbing design experience in the building design industry
- Experience with K-12 and healthcare projects strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Building Systems or related field) preferred
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing codes, healthcare facility codes, and industry standards
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD highly desirable
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills
