QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university;
- Valid Texas Certification for EC-6 or EC-4 (Standard, Provisional, or One-Year certificates only; ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify);
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred;
- Strong experience with at-risk / small group reading intervention and instruction;
- Excellent classroom management.
- This position does not qualify for a lateral teacher transfer within CFISD during the school year.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days
SALARY:
$64,206/IA-3
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
