Moore Construction Co., Inc. is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team in Clarksville, TN.
We specialize in storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and underground utility construction. We are looking for dependable operators who take pride in their work, operate equipment safely, and want steady ,year-round employment with opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
- Perform excavation, grading, loading, and material movement.
- Assist with underground utility, storm drain, and sewer projects.
- Work closely with foremen and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Perform job site setup, cleanup, and general construction tasks.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment preferred.
- Underground utility, sewer, or storm drain experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate multiple types of equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- CDL is a plus.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor.
- Ability to work around heavy equipment and active construction sites.
