Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Family Support Services will ensure that the Principles of Family Support Practice as identified in the National Family Support Network are upheld and that staff and families work together in relationships based on equality and respect. The senior manager will assess and oversee initial support and services to all eligible individuals that are not yet, or able to, receive waivered services. The senior manager will oversee the transition process for those transitioning on to the waiver or expanded services. The senior manager will ensure the distribution of Family Support Council funds, following approval by the Family Support Council for the purpose of providing funding for support and services for the individuals and their families. The Family Support Senior Manager will assess services as noted in the essential responsibilities of all relevant He-M’s and laws. This position will be considered as Director role in the future should staff in place be successful with growing and expanding revenue within Targeted Case Management services.

In addition to the above duties the Senior Manager is also required to ensure the fiscal solvency of the department through close monitoring of all financial matters

PAY: $29/hr.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assure that Family Support council and contract funds are distributed, tracked and monitored in accordance with New Hampshire Administrative Rule He-M 519.04(c) and as detailed in Exhibit C, Payment Terms.
  • Oversee the following areas of support in accordance with all relevant NH Administrative Rules and laws: initial service coordination, Targeted case management, transition services.
  • Promote growth and expansion to Targeted Case Management services as well as meet program goals and metrics
  • Ensure Service Coordinators are maximizing billable contacts each month
  • Hire, train and supervise managers within areas of oversite
  • Oversee the utilization of systems necessary to carry out required duties such as but not limited to AWARDS, NH Easy, MMIS, Therap & Access databases
  • Direct Quality Improvement activities for agency including but not limited to the review and analysis of all data collected through internal QI reviews and data collection
  • Oversee the registry entries and submissions as assigned (Category A & B)
  • Assure all available billing via NCCW, contract funding, and DAADS funding are submitted to supervisor monthly by the 10th of the month.
  • Ensure that members of family support services staff collaborate with and promote networking and community building with other systems of family support including but not limited: Bureau of Family Centered Services (BFCS), Health Care Coordination, Family Resource Centers, Child Care and Early Learning Environments. Other community agencies in the region.
  • Ensure that all family support staff are assisting families applying for community resources, services, and/or public programs available to them to leverage natural resources, services and support.
  • Respond to and assist in resolving client-based crises as they arise.
  • Create and maintain clear and prompt communication with clients and families
  • Update and implement new policies, procedures, and rule compliance as necessary.
  • Responsible for reporting all incidents of client abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation to designated administrative staff and Adult Protective Services
  • Liaise with BDS, Service coordination and FMS as appropriate
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, plus minimum of five years of experience in Human Services with three years of

supervisory experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours
  • $100,000/300,000 Automobile Liability Insurance

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to master/train new software
  • Interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems

Salary : $100,000 - $300,000
