What You’ll Do

As a Senior Tax Leader, you will drive engagement strategy, serve as a trusted advisor to key client accounts, and help guide the firm's growth and team development.

• Engagement Oversight & Technical Review: Direct complex individual, corporate, partnership, pass-through, and multi-state engagements, ensuring top-tier accuracy and compliance.
• Strategic Tax Advisory: Provide sophisticated tax planning, structuring, and advisory services for closely held businesses, owners, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Executive Client Leadership: Serve as the primary relationship lead for key client accounts, offering proactive, consultative guidance.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and coach managers and senior staff, fostering technical expertise, leadership growth, and a culture of accountability.
• Firm Strategy & Collaboration: Partner with firm leadership on strategic initiatives, capacity planning, operational improvements, and business development.
• Workflow & Operational Excellence: Lead risk assessments, multi-office staffing coordination, and process improvements using emerging tax technologies.
• Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of evolving tax laws and lead internal training initiatives to keep the firm at the forefront of best practices.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Certification: Active CPA license (Required).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST or MAcc strongly preferred.
• Experience: 8–10 years of progressive public accounting experience with proven tax leadership and client management responsibilities.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced expertise in individual, corporate, partnership, and multi-state taxation.
• Executive Presence: Confident, polished communicator capable of advising business owners, C-suite executives, and internal leadership.
• Strategic Mindset: Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of delivering practical, high-level business recommendations.
• Modern Tech Approach: Proficiency with modern tax software and enthusiasm for leveraging automation tools to optimize efficiency.
