- Maintain accurate patient records and manage clerical tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Utilize computerized systems for patient management and appointment scheduling.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient service.
Skills
- Proven experience in medical administrative support or as a receptionist is preferred.
- Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
- Familiarity with medical billing processes and insurance verification.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Competence in using office software and computerized systems relevant to medical practice.
