Summer Grounds
SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Head of Maintenance, the Summer Grounds worker will be responsible for the outside appearance of the schools and all associated grounds. This is a temporary position running May 1st – October 1st.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Head of Maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license, be self-motivated, able to work outside in all weather conditions, able to lift 50lbs, be familiar with common grounds tools including but not limited to a Weed Eater, Lawn Mower, Leaf Blower, etc.
Projects would include, but are not limited to: Helping with lawn irrigation systems, mowing grass, trimming weeds, cleaning up leaves as well as trash and any additional duties that help improve the looks of the school grounds.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
