Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer (Hybrid – Downtown Kansas City)
We are partnering with a growing product engineering team that is building a new cloud-native platform from the ground up. This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence DevOps standards, automation, observability, and infrastructure strategy — with the opportunity to grow into team leadership as the environment matures.
What You’ll Do
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployments
- Lead Infrastructure-as-Code automation (Terraform preferred)
- Improve observability across logging, tracing, and metrics
- Promote DevOps best practices and mentor engineers across the team
- Help shape future architecture, security standards, and scaling strategy
What You Bring
- 5 years DevOps / SRE experience in cloud-native environments
- Strong AWS background (serverless, containerization, networking, IAM)
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK
- CI/CD pipeline ownership (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodeBuild, etc.)
- Ability to lead, influence, and guide engineering peers
