Duties
- Patrol designated areas regularly to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity
- Monitor CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to observe activity and identify potential security threats
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees before granting access to the premises
- Respond swiftly to alarms or suspicious activity, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to ensure safety protocols are followed and report any hazards or breaches
- Assist in conflict management by calmly addressing disputes or disturbances on-site
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- Basic first aid and CPR certification to handle medical emergencies confidently
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail in monitoring surroundings
- Valid certifications in security or related areas as required by local regulations
