We are now hiring Gerawan employees to join our team as a Palletizer (Day). This role involves ensuring all final product leaves the plant correctly placed in pallets, trays, or boxes in compliance with customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all product handling activities in the palletizing department, including stacking and counting.
- Verify product and appearance to ensure they meet specified parameters.
- Maintain trays, pallets, and/or boxes to industry standards.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any deficiencies to management.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality meets expectations.
- Clean work areas and perform assigned cleaning tasks.
- Repackage and rework product as directed by supervisors.
- Adhere to food safety principles and legal requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Basic math skills
- Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shift
