Event Space Cleaner (Night & Some Day Shifts)
About the Job
We’re looking for 2 dependable cleaners to join our team at an event space in Derry, NH. You’ll reset and clean the venue before or after events as the case may be so it’s spotless and ready for the next guests. Most shifts are at night, with some day shifts as needed mostly between Thursdays - Saturdays, some Wednesdays and Sundays.
Schedule
- 4–5 shifts per week
- About 4 hours per shift
- Night shifts start between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM, depending on the event schedule
- Some day shifts available
- Shift times vary, so flexibility is important
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in event rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking supplies as needed
- Empty trash and recycling and take it out to dumpsters
- Wipe down tables, chairs, bars, counters, and other surfaces
- Clean up spills and event debris
- Reset rooms and spaces as directed
Requirements
- Reliable and on time, every shift
- Able to work late-night hours
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently
- Reliable transportation to Derry, NH
Preferred
- Previous experience cleaning event spaces, banquet halls or similar venues plus
