Clinic Technician Mt. Washington

Clinic Technician (FT)- This position helps secure patients’ confidence with Mooney EyeCare Centre as a comprehensive eyecare clinic that has the best interest in their vision and overall health. Efficiency and accuracy during testing and digital imaging are paramount during this face-to-face time with patients to ensure our doctors have the information they need for a thorough exam. Position requires strong computer skills, including moderate speed typing with accuracy, using multiple internet sites simultaneously while working in medical software (we use Crysal PM). Must show compassion and understanding obtaining crucial medical history from patients to prepare for the doctor’s exam. Technicians also teach patients to use contact lenses and help with other areas of the practice when they aren’t working with patients. Position is mainly in the Mt. Washington office but there is an occasional need to work at one of our other 3 locations. Experience successfully working in eyecare or a customer-forward setting is helpful. We will happily train you to adapt your skillset to eyecare but you must LOVE working with people!

Mooney EyeCare Centre provides comprehensive eyecare, quality eyewear and vision therapy to the young and young-at-heart. We are privately owned, currently seeing patients in Mt. Washington, Bardstown KY, Louisville and Shelbyville KY. Our team of experienced Optometrists, along with their compassionate support team, strive to provide an amazing vision care experience to each patient who chooses our practice. This position offers a 4-day work week with a 50 min. lunch break, no late nights or weekends; vision/eyewear benefits; accrued PTO and 401K Match after one year of employment. Medical Insurance is also available.
