What You'll Do
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Moonbug Therapy, you will:
- Evaluate pediatric clients and identify areas of communication and functional need.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with caregivers and other members of the child's care team to establish meaningful goals.
- Provide engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy tailored to each child's individual needs.
- Provide services in a combination of clinic and natural-environment settings throughout Lexington and Richland Counties.
- Build trusting relationships with children, parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals.
- Provide caregiver education and practical strategies to support communication and progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as clinically appropriate.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation using an electronic health record system.
- Manage and organize your caseload and schedule effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Support children with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and communication needs.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
Leadership & Supervision Opportunities

Opportunities are available to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and take on additional professional responsibilities within our growing team.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Current, valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Pediatric experience through previous employment, clinical practice, or fieldwork.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between therapy locations.
Preferred:
- Experience working with a variety of pediatric ages and diagnoses.
- Broad clinical experience and familiarity with a variety of treatment approaches.
- Experience providing therapy in homes, schools, daycares, or other natural environments.
- Experience or interest in supervising SLPAs.
