Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced voice instructor to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled vocalist but also a dedicated educator who can inspire and develop students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
- Teach private and/or group voice lessons, customizing instruction to individual needs
- Help students develop proper vocal technique, breath control, and expressive performance skills
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and competitions
- Encourage healthy vocal habits and confidence in performance
- Collaborate with fellow faculty members to maintain the school’s high standard of instruction
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Voice Performance, Music Education, or a related field
- Experience teaching voice to students of various ages and skill levels
- Strong pedagogical skills with knowledge of different vocal styles and techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and musical goals
- Experience with audition and recital preparation is a plus
