Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Analyst to support network operations and technology initiatives for a premier client. This role will serve as the primary liaison between business users and engineering teams, ensuring operational issues are properly identified, documented, prioritized, and resolved.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience managing operational intake processes, and the ability to drive issues through resolution. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of a newly implemented intake management system while partnering closely with network engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems and operational processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, users, and engineering/development teams.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into detailed technical requirement deliverables.
- Monitor, track, prioritize, and assign incoming requests and incidents to appropriate network engineering teams.
- Ensure tickets are properly categorized, documented, and routed for timely resolution.
- Drive issues through completion by proactively following up with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Analyze existing intake workflows and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation, adoption, and continuous enhancement of a new intake management platform.
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and process gaps, and provide recommendations for long-term improvements.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Create reports, dashboards, and documentation related to operational performance and service delivery metrics.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence efforts.
- Support change management activities and ensure process compliance across teams.
Required Skills
- Business Analysis experience supporting IT operations, infrastructure, or technology organizations.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
- Experience with incident management, ticket management, or intake management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and driving operational efficiencies.
- Proficiency creating process documentation, workflows, reports, and status updates.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting network operations environments.
- Understanding of networking concepts including switching, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience working in data center environments and supporting data center infrastructure operations.
- Exposure to network automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled operational processes, automation tools, or intelligent workflow solutions.
- Experience collaborating with network engineers, infrastructure teams, and operations centers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $95,000 in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
