Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the heart of the bar experience, engaging with guests, crafting exceptional drinks, and creating a lively atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests enthusiastically, taking drink orders, offering recommendations, and creating memorable experiences.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures and cash handling protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours.
• Promote sales by upselling drinks and suggesting specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales upselling, and accurate tab management.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements; certifications preferred where applicable.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails is a plus.
• Prior banquet experience or catering background is advantageous for event-based service roles.
• Hospitality or food industry experience demonstrating adaptability across different service settings is desirable.
