Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Treatment Planning Coordinator / Insurance Specialist to join our Financial Department. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and values integrity in financial and insurance processes.
You will play a vital role in helping patients understand their benefits, ensuring accurate insurance verification, and supporting the financial health of the practice—all while serving patients with professionalism, clarity, and Christ-centered compassion.

Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator or Insurance Specialist required
- Strong understanding of PPO and Medicaid insurance plans, guidelines, and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and claim protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience obtaining pre-authorizations and following up on insurance approvals
- Dentrix Ascend experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills; organized, detail-oriented, and patient-focused
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel between both practice locations, if applicable
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and maintaining strict patient confidentiality
