Trusts and Estates Paralegal

Our client, an established Estate Planning law firm in Glastonbury, Connecticut, seeks a Trusts and Estates Paralegal with more than two years of relevant experience. The firm is seeking a driven, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a client-focused environment and is eager to make a difference in peoples' lives.What You'll Do - Trusts and Estates ParalegalDraft legal documents and court forms.Resolve complex client matters with accuracy, discretion, and timeliness.Coordinate with financial institutions and third-party service providers to obtain account information and supporting documentation.Review, interpret, and work confidently with bank statements, brokerage reports, and other financial documents.Draft Probate Court forms and estate tax returns.Maintain strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Monitor and manage critical deadlines and key milestones across assigned matters to ensure nothing is overlooked.Work independently while remaining accountable, self-motivated, and proactive.Maintain a client-first mindset and consistently deliver a high standard of client service.Requirements - Trusts and Estates ParalegalA minimum of two years of Trusts & Estate administration paralegal experience in Connecticut.Associate's degree or paralegal certificate, preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Qualifications - Trusts and Estates ParalegalPossess a growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to ongoing professional development.The ability to prioritize competing tasks meeting multiple deadlines.Possess strong oral and written communication skills.Exhibit a thoughtful and proactive work style, including active listening, asking questions, performing analysis and taking appropriate action.The demeanor to support clients with empathy through the estate administration and probate processes.Work Location and Compensation - Trusts and Estates ParalegalCompetitive base salary commensurate with relevant experience.This work location is on-site in Glastonbury, Connecticut.Eligibility for a hybrid workday after six months of employment.ApplyConfidentiality is a cornerstone of our recruiting services.
