Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and skilled individual to join our Food & Beverage team as a cook. This role is essential in ensuring that our restaurant can operate with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to excellent service to help contribute to our mission of attaining an outstanding dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of nutritious and appealing options
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all food handling processes
- Support catering events by preparing and serving food as needed
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items
- Able to stand for long periods of the day
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager for potential upgrades to the menu or ideas to improve efficiency of the kitchen
- Prep all stations and ensure the kitchen is ready to be opened the next day
Requirements
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is highly desirable
- Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for safe food handling
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Must be 21 years old or older at the time of hiring
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work opening, closing, weekend, and holiday shifts
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- ServSafe Certification
- Experience in banquet catering
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Restaurant kitchen experience

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
