Job Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping them neat and organized.
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials, performing suctioning, and other tasks as needed.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Record patient medical and dental histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Hours
Monday-Thursday from 7:40am to 5:00pm.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in Dental Assisting is required.
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program is a plus.
- Current CPR certification. We can work with you to get this if needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with dental software is a plus.
