Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Photographer role based in Littleton, CO. The Photographer will plan and execute portrait sessions for individuals and possibly families, businesses, and events. Daily responsibilities include setting up and breaking down studio and on-location lighting, operating camera and related equipment, posing clients, and capturing high-quality images that reflect the studio’s brand and standards. The role also includes culling and basic editing of images, coordinating with the editing team for advanced retouching, and preparing image selections and proofs for client review. The Photographer will collaborate with team members to maintain equipment, support studio operations, and provide a welcoming, professional client experience throughout each session.
Qualifications
- Technical photography skills, including experience with professional digital cameras, lenses, studio and location lighting, and posing for portraiture.
- Proficiency with photo editing and workflow tools (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and basic file management in a professional studio environment).
- Client-facing skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, give confident posing direction, and create a comfortable, inclusive experience for people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple sessions, meet deadlines, and maintain a consistent studio schedule.
- Ability to work on-site in Littleton, CO, including occasional evenings or weekends to support client sessions and events.
- Prior experience in portrait photography (studio, lifestyle, or event) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with current photography trends and a commitment to continuous learning and creative development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or training in photography, visual arts, or related fields is a plus.
