What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Model position at MONTSERRAT COLLEGE OF ART INC?
Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties
- Poses for fine arts studio classes: figure drawing, painting and other drawing courses as required by class curriculum.
- Adapts and sustains a variety of portrait poses.
- Professionally and appropriately interacts with students and faculty.
- Ability to provide full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses as required by the instructor.
- Ability to maintain poses for a fixed period of time.
Qualifications: (Experience, Skills and Abilities)
- Experience as studio model is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Sports, dance, theater, or modeling background is preferred.
- Must be responsible, flexible, and reliable.
- Must have a professional presence.
- Must be comfortable with modeling nude.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to hold a pose for a period of time
