About This Role:
- The Patient Access Representative is responsible for obtaining precertifications and authorizations for complex departments, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordination with Case Management Staff.
- This role involves insurance-related tasks, including verification, co-payment collection, and paperwork management.
- Maintaining knowledge of regulatory guidelines is essential, along with performing administrative functions, answering phones, and coordinating requests from other departments and patients.
About You:
- We seek a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree preferred.
- CHAA certification is preferred, along with two years of registration experience, medical terminology, and customer service.
- Knowledge of Medicaid practices and application process is beneficial, as well as proficiency in typing, computer literacy, and strong communication skills.
