Responsibilities

• Monitor gallery spaces and event areas using to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of exhibition halls, entry points, and surrounding areas to ensure safety protocols are upheld.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials of visitors, staff, and vendors while maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any security incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Collaborate with event staff and law enforcement when necessary to address emergencies or security breaches.
• Perform first aid and CPR when needed to assist visitors or staff during medical emergencies.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs for each shift, ensuring accurate documentation of all activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management practices.
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with visitors and team members.
• Prior experience with security protocols at public events or art galleries is a plus but not mandatory.
