What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Montowese Veterinary Clinic?
Seeking a motivated, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team in our 2 doctor practice in North Branford, Connecticut. Our office is busy, but family friendly, and with the "small business" feel. We are privately owned and seek to maintain excellence in client communication and patient care. We see dogs and cats only. We offer same day urgent visits, medical visits, technician visits, wellness exams, vaccination only appointments and rechecks. There is no after hours on call work and we do not have overnight hospitalization. We have in house labs, imaging and surgery/dental We are a progressive facility and always are seeking to grow our medical team to better serve our patients and clients. Job duties will include but are not limited to animal restraint, taking patient history, stocking rooms, taking care of in hospital patients, cleaning and maintaining rooms/treatment/surgery/the office in general, etc.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
