DESCRIPTION
The Monticello Central School District is seeking a full-time high school science teacher for a vacancy.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Preparing students for the Living Environment Regents Exam
- Working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Curriculum planning using project-based learning
- Incorporating authentic assessments into one’s teaching
- Designing lessons that challenge and support all students
- Using strong classroom management skills that respond to a student’s individual experience, background, and needs
- Flexibility in strategies to improve student attendance
