About the Job:
We are looking for a Front Office Coordinator! The Front Office Coordinator is a major contributor to the clinic's success. If you enjoy working as a team player and serving patients in need, this could be the job for you!
What will you be doing?
Greets patients in a professional, polite, respectful way and provides necessary paperwork for completion. Answers all incoming calls and routes calls correctly. Schedules and reschedules patient appointments per established provider protocols. Files and/or scans patient documents and medical records into the EMR system. Verifies insurance eligibility, collects co-pays/deductibles as per company policy, coordinates incoming and outgoing referrals, and serves as a primary customer service representative for the clinic. Collects appropriate co-pays, deductibles and/or account balances at the time of service. Completes other duties and special projects, as assigned or requested. Consistently projects positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED is Required.
- 1 years of experience working in a medical office setting.
- Must have a basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, grammar, and word-processing software.
Schedule:
- Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
