Shop Porter

Monticello Auto Service is looking for a Shop Porter. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! This is a great entry level position into the automotive industry. Has a wide variety of duties and will keep you busy all day! Monday-Friday 8am-5pm NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS!

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians by organizing and transporting tools and parts within the shop.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment.
• Support the team with vehicle movement and basic maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during daily operations.
• Help with inventory management and supply stocking.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or visitors.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues as needed.
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects.
• Good communication skills.
• Prior experience in an automotive shop is a plus but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
