Company Description Monti Coolers is the creator of The Smashable Packable Cooler™, designed for people who need a lightweight and moldable cooler for hiking, wade fishing, and urban adventures. We’re a young outdoor gear company with an awesome office on Broad Street downtown near Blind Tiger.
Role Description The Marketing Intern role is a part-time, on-site position based in Charleston, SC. The intern will support day-to-day marketing activities including assisting with social media content, gathering content and assets for email and digital marketing, creating and posting to our social media channels, etc... basically all things creative! Comfort with Canva and CapCut will key for this role. As the office intern, also expect to be sent on random errands/adventures from taking the golden retrievers to the dog park, beer runs (if 21 ) for the office, post office trips, and whatever else pops up that can help out the team!
Hours: The thought is to start off around 5-10 hours/week with opportunity to take on more hours (if you want) as you learn how to contribute in more ways to the team. This person will need to be in the office 90% of the team so this is not considered a remote position. Please only apply if you can get to our office in Charleston.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams effectively.
- Canva and CapCut familiarity is pretty dang important for this role
- Comfort talking to the camera and filming content for the brand
- Interest or experience in Sales to assist with outreach, lead follow-up, and promotional activities.
- Ability to use common digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, social media platforms) and learn new systems quickly.
- Self Starter- Yes that’s a cliché but this person needs to be a self starter that can hit the ground running on content without excessive hand-holding
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor, travel, or lifestyle products and willingness to contribute creative ideas to brand and campaign development.
- Nice to have: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
