An applicant must be a Highly Qualified teacher with a valid Alabama Teachers certificate with relevant certification and expertise in the area of specialization. Area of certification, experience, qualifications, and Highly Qualified status will be determining factors in the selection. Ability to develop and implement treatment plans. Comprehensive knowledge of assessment and remediation of speech/language impairments. Knowledge of federal and state laws, System rules and guidelines relating to program implementation and a valid background review conducted by the ABI and FBI pursuant to the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and ACT No. 2002-457, be fingerprinted and pay a $48.15 fee. This is required by law meeting the suitability criteria for employment.
