Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION: PER-K AIDE
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must have nine (9) hours of early childhood education college course-work or a Child Development Associate (CDA)
- credentialed through Council of Professional Recognition or an Early Childhood Education Associate degree or an Associate degree in Child Development
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and managing small groups
- Ensure child safety and promote positive social interactions throughout the day
- Help organize classroom materials and learning centers
- Support observations and documentation of children's development as directed by lead teacher
- Help with daily cleaning and organizing of the learning environment
- Complete required OSR professional development hours (at least 20 annually)
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Note: This position is funded by a grant. Therefore, tenure cannot be gained in this position.

Salary : $23,979 - $27,586
