Educating for Tomorrow POSITION TITLE:Aide/Paraprofessional - Instructional and Special Education QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Highly Qualified Requirements REPORTS TO: Principal or Principal designee and Special Education Coordinator RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach students while the teacher works with special groups. Assist teacher in general duties (i.e., duplicating, giving make-up tests). Provide assistance in standardized test preparation. Accompany students to the library and computer lab. Must lift, bent, squat as assignment may require. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the principals or Supervisor of Special Education. Maintain the confidentiality of student records. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule. EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
