Job Summary

JOB DECSRIPTION: GIFTED TEACHER

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification, Bachelor’s Degree or higher with an endorsement in gifted education (Grades K-12)

Essential Duties:

• Create a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth
• Establish effective rapport with students
• Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation
• Utilize technology to enhance the curriculum including laboratory/hands-on experiences Establish positive relationships with parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
