Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant Wrestling Coach Temporary Qualifications: Knowledgeable in the techniques and strategies for the sport/activity Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches’ Education Program Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and board policies ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Acts under the direction of the head coach Plans and directs a regular program of practice in the season Maintains competency in rules, regulations, and coaching techniques for the sport/activity To adhere to the MPS Athletics Code of Ethics and Conduct for Sports Coaches Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sports HOW TO APPLY: All applicants should complete the State of Alabama on-line application and attach it to the specific job number in order to be eligible for hire.
