Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION: GUIDANCE COUNSELOR (12 MONTHS)

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Teacher's Certification
• Master's Degree or higher with an endorsement in school counseling

Essential Duties:

• Provide a counseling program favorable to assisting students, faculty, and community.
• Establish effective rapport with students.
• Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an educational foundation.
• Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors.
