Nature of Work
This trainee-level job class is designed for individuals beginning their careers in a targeted field and involves performing a wide-range of professional-level positions. This position requires a degree in the targeted job field.�The employee will work under direct supervision for a period of time (up to two years) until the employee meets the minimum qualification of the targeted position.� After becoming qualified, the employee will be eligible for promotion.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a post-high school degree in the assigned position. NOTE:� Employees hired as a professional trainee will work no more than two (2) years to be eligible for promotion.
