Title: Warehouse Associate
Status: Full-Time, Hourly
Hours: 40 Weekly Hours: Four 10-Four Shifts

Montgomery’s is currently looking for an individual to join our warehouse team in our Sioux Falls location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and inspect incoming furniture shipments to ensure every piece meets our quality standards before it reaches a customer’s home.
- Stage and organize delivery loads to ensure efficient routing and smooth daily operations.
- Prepare customer pickup orders with care and accuracy, creating a seamless warehouse experience.
- Assist customers with balance payments and required documentation, ensuring transactions are handled professionally and accurately.
- Partner with leadership to quickly resolve order discrepancies, keeping service standards high.
- Utilize inventory systems and barcoding technology to receive, transfer, and track merchandise with precision.
- Deliver exceptional customer interactions, representing the company with professionalism in appearance and communication.
- Support the merchandising team by locating and moving product for showroom displays.
- Unload and receive vendor shipments, following proper reporting and inventory procedures.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment that supports operational excellence.
- Operate safely and responsibly, using provided equipment and following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with a team-oriented mindset, stepping in to support teammates when needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse and delivery operations.

Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience:
- Must be able to read, write and have basic math skills.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of computer warehousing applications preferred.
- Experience or ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse machinery preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge, along with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications.
- Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift, carry and maneuver up to 100 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- The ability to use tools that assist in the lifting and transport of large and sometimes heavy furniture.
- The ability to use tools in the assembly and installation of furniture.
- The ability to bend, lift and carry furniture and items into customer’s homes, properly placing them and assembling where required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background check and drug screen
