No two days look the same, and that’s exactly what makes this role exciting! You’ll balance leadership, strategy, and hands-on customer engagement while keeping your finger on the pulse of store performance.
How you'll make an impact
Drive Sales & Growth
- Lead the store to achieve monthly and annual sales goal
- Build a culture of accountability for both individual and team performance
- Track and analyze key metrics like ticket size, traffic, close ratio, revenue per up, house calls, and accuracy
- Grow the customer base through local events, home shows, and community outreach
Lead & Develop Your Team
- Coach and mentor sales associates through the full sales process
- Conduct one-on-one meetings focused on skill development, follow-up, and performance improvement
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain a competitive, customer-focused sales team
- Deliver ongoing training on sales systems, product knowledge, and best practices
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Analyze sales performance and recommend operational improvements
- Prepare and present monthly sales reports to leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and customer experience
Customer & Operational Excellence
- Support negotiations, resolve customer concerns, and ensure a seamless buying experience
- Ensure proper staffing and scheduling for optimal floor coverage
- Oversee open sales, orders, and deliveries to keep projects moving smoothly
- Maintain accuracy in returns, approvals, and administrative processes
