2026-2027 Paraprofessional- Instructional Aide -EMES

Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is now accepting applications for a Paraprofessional - Instructional position that is available at Eastern Montgomery Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Instructional Aide assists teachers in presenting and reinforcing instructional objectives by working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill level expected of the class.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of an associate degree or 48 semester hours of college or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment Exam
• Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn to operate and maintain a wide variety of instructional equipment
• Candidates should possess excellent reading, writing, and computation skills
• Demonstrated personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to be dependable and punctual
• Have experience in fostering an inclusive learning environment

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

SALARY: $26,077.50- $45,727.05 annually; with benefits; commensurate with experience
