- Montgomery County Community College** invites applications for the STEM Lab Coordinator. The STEM Lab Coordinator oversees STEM department biology and anatomy & physiology laboratories. In particular, the coordinator is responsible for coordinating and preparing biology and anatomy and physiology labs taught in Blue Bell. The coordinator guides the programming, maintenance and use of the Sustainability Lab. In partnership with the STEM Lab Manager/STEM Laboratory Safety Officer, the coordinator will ensure safe and efficient operations of all STEM laboratories. The coordinator will supervise part-time STEM laboratory assistants, student lab aids, and other laboratory-associated support staff. This is a college-wide position that requires travel among campuses.
**ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**
- Bachelor of Science in biology, anatomy and physiology, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated experience managing undergraduate laboratories preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and standard laboratory procedures required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of software as related to position requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team-oriented setting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
