Primary Preschool Classroom Teacher (Ages 3–6) | Morgan Hill, CA
Ready for more than just another teaching job?
If you love working with young children and believe the early years shape a lifetime of learning, we'd love to meet you.
At Montessori School of Silicon Valley (MSOSV), we're looking for educators who want to build a meaningful career not just fill a position. Whether you're an experienced Montessori assistant, an ECE teacher curious about Montessori, or someone ready to become a Lead Guide, we'll invest in your growth every step of the way.
This is more than a classroom role. It's an opportunity to receive mentorship, pursue Montessori certification, and develop into a confident Primary Lead Guide in an authentic Montessori environment.
Why You'll Love Working Here
You'll join a close-knit school community where:
- Children are respected as capable, independent learners.
- Teachers are supported, mentored, and encouraged to grow.
- Collaboration is valued over competition.
- Professional development is part of our culture, not an afterthought.
- Every day brings meaningful work that truly makes a difference.
What You'll Do
As part of our Primary (Ages 3–6) classroom team, you'll:
- Help create a peaceful, engaging Montessori learning environment.
- Support children as they build independence, confidence, and concentration.
- Partner with an experienced Head of School while developing your own Montessori practice.
- Observe children's growth and communicate professionally with families and colleagues.
- Model kindness, patience, and grace and courtesy throughout the day.
- Gradually take on increased leadership responsibilities as you prepare for your own classroom.
Who We're Looking For
You may be the perfect fit if you have:
- At least 12 ECE units (or are willing to complete them)
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 (preferred)
- A genuine interest in Montessori education
- A desire to pursue Montessori Primary (3–6) certification
- Strong organizational skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Patience, reliability, and a love of helping children become independent learners
Montessori experience is a plus—but not required. If you're passionate about early childhood education and excited to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
What We Offer
We believe great teachers deserve great support.
Our benefits include:
- Competitive pay
- Medical & Dental Insurance
- 401(k) with Employer Match
- Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays
- Tuition Reimbursement for continued education
- Mentorship from experienced Montessori educators
- A clear pathway toward becoming a Primary Lead Guide
- A welcoming, collaborative school culture where you'll be valued
