Infant/Toddler Lead Guide – 6 Weeks to 2 Years

We are seeking an Infant/Toddler Lead Guide who will thoughtfully lead the classroom and inspire both children and team members. Classroom community consists of 12 infant/toddlers ages 0-2 with a teaching team of 3 teachers: Lead Teacher and 2 Assistant Staff.
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience working with infants and toddlers (Montessori experience preferred)
- Holds or is pursuing Montessori certification (or is eager to begin)
- Is confident leading a classroom and guiding assistants
- Brings a calm, nurturing presence and strong observational skills
- Values consistency, communication, and building strong relationships with families
- Is passionate about child development and respectful caregiving practices
In this role, you will:
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, engaging Montessori environment
- Lead the daily rhythm and schedule of the classroom with intention and care
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers
- Partner with families to support each child’s growth and development
- Foster independence through meaningful, hands-on experiences
