What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Primary - Children's House (3-6)Teacher position at Montessori Preschool?
Montessori Preschool is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Teacher for our Children’s House classes.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education OR an associate’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with 12 Early Childhood Education credits completed
- 2 years of verifiable and relevant experience
