- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Engage children in activities that promote the Montessori and Reggio Emilia Pedagogies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive guidance and proactive behavior management techniques to foster respect and cooperation among students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support each child's individual growth and address specific needs related to childhood development and child welfare.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress through observations and standardized testing when appropriate; utilize data to inform instruction and tutoring strategies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and active participation in daycare or preschool activities.
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; familiarity with 3-6 year olds is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods or other specialized curricula.
- Experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities tailored to young learners’ developmental stages.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
