What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Child Care - Toddler Program position at Montessori Educational Center?
Job duties include supervising a small group of toddler children (18 months through 3 years) with a partner teacher during our after school care program. We have a maximum of 12 children with 2 adults in a group. Willingness to sweep the classroom, organize matierials and attend to laundry is required. Approximately 15 hours per week, between the hours of 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. MEC follows a school calendar and is not in session for major holidays. This is an ideal position for a student who is at least 21 years old. We are urgently hiring and are especially interested in applicants who have CPR certification and a Child Care Criminal Background Check (CCCBC). If you are not CPR certified, and do not have a CCCBC, the school will help you to obtain those credentials.
