Montessori Country School on Bainbridge Island, Washington, is an independent, AMS accredited school serving children from 1 to 12 years. Located in Puget Sound, we are 8 miles west of downtown Seattle. The island is accessible by ferryboat and a bridge to the Olympic Peninsula. Bainbridge Island hosts a rich arts community and easy access to outdoor experiences.
Montessori Country School is celebrating its 54th year. We have a Parent and Child program, one toddler class, three primary classes, a lower elementary, and an upper elementary. Our 4-acre campus includes six classrooms, an Art Studio, and a natural playground. We are an inclusive and supportive community of life-long learners and dedicated Montessorians.
We are seeking an Upper Elementary Guide. Ideal candidates for this position will be organized, flexible, confident, independent, and collaborative. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and AMS or AMI certification or the intention to pursue certification. EL I experienced Guides interested in pursuing EL II training are encouraged to apply.
