Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Toddler ( 18 months - 3 years )Classroom Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will provide flexible support across multiple toddler classrooms, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and adaptability will help maintain a positive atmosphere where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. Duties
- Assist in supervising and engaging with toddlers during daily activities, playtime, and routines to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Support lead teachers by helping with classroom setup, cleanup, and organization of educational materials
- Provide attentive care to toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed in accordance with safety protocols
- Ensure a safe environment by monitoring children closely and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that foster curiosity and learning
- Help manage behavior through positive guidance techniques and consistent routines
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, providing reliable coverage wherever needed within the facility
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for toddler care
- Experience in classroom management and behavior guidance strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
